South African Intruder Detection Services Association
An association of service providers of security systems, ranging from basic alarms to sophisticated electronic intruder detection systems and CCTV, and incorporating signal monitoring as well as the provision of armed reaction services. SAIDSA is regarded as the Watchdog of this segment of the industry and has the interests of both its members and the public at heart.
Community Crime Prevention
Deep Blue Security is a contributor to the CCP (Community Crime Prevention). A local security initiative in Hout Bay aimed at improving the local security services. CCP, an NGO, is also a registered PBO (Public Benefit Organisation).
The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority
Deep Blue Security has been registered with PSIRA since 2003. Primary objectives of this authority are to regulate the private security industry and exercise effective control over the best practice of security service providers.
Sky Polygraph Services and Detective Agency
Sky is an agency that specialises in polygraph services and a variety of detective capabilities. Providing conclusive polygraph test results; but also compiling comprehensive reports.
Hout Bay Volunteer Emergency Medical Services
HBVEMS serves the community of Hout Bay and surrounds. Run by volunteers who provide crews working 4 shifts every weekend. The service is made possible thanks to the generous, private donations of sponsors.

HBNW Watchcon has been nationally recognised as an amazing success story, where the community has joined forces with security firms and the South African Police Services to measurably reduce crime.
